About Adam
Hi, I'm Adam Hultstrand, LMFT, LPC, founder and owner of Common Ground Counseling Center.
I consider myself a lifelong learner. Over the years, I have been deeply shaped by the clients, colleagues, mentors, friends, and family members who have influenced my life. I believe every person has inherent value and something meaningful to contribute. This perspective continues to shape both who I am and how I approach counseling.
For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges and strengthen the relationships that matter most. I offer counseling throughout Lancaster, Pennsylvania and beyond, tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. I also have a special interest in helping men pursue emotional health, relational integrity, and lasting personal growth.
Clients often describe me as compassionate yet direct. I believe counseling should provide both support and honest guidance—a place where you feel understood, challenged when needed, and encouraged toward meaningful change.
My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel understood, supported, and challenged when needed. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, stronger relationships, and meaningful growth.
My educational background includes graduate degrees in counseling and pastoral ministry. For those who desire it, faith can also be incorporated into the counseling process.
I would be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue meaningful change and healthier relationships.
